I never like spelling bees when I was in school. Not because spelling was hard mind you,I just didn’t like the fact that my small child mind was given the impression that bees would be present in the event. You read that right, I thought BEES would spell the letters for me. How cool would that be?!

Tonic#1: ‘So a zombie, a detective and a vampire fuck up a bar…’ (or a Hanna is Not a Boy’s Name Review)

Hanna is Not a Boy’s Name(or HinaBn for short) is a supernatural comic written and illustrated by Tessa Stone. It follows the story of Hanna Falk Cross an amateur paranormal detective and his immediate partner an amnesiac zombie. Along the course of their very short adventure, they meet vampires, selkies, werewolves and humans who have fucked up hobbies.

HinaBn was what I would describe as a dream. And by that, I mean waking up the next morning, befuddled and drool all over your face, unable to recall the dream you had but you still remember how wonderful it was. HinaBn was fleeting but fantastic.
